MELT is a free to the public, curated mural festival dedicated to supporting working artists and producing meaningful art at scale. We bring together muralists from around the world whose work transforms space, engages community, and leaves a lasting visual impact.

Each year, MELT selects a limited group of artists to create original, large-scale murals as part of the festival experience.

Who We’re Looking For

We’re seeking artists with a strong visual voice and a clear ability to translate their work into large-scale environments.

Whether your work is bold and graphic, narrative-driven, abstract, or experimental — we’re interested in artists who:

• Understand space, scale, capacity to paint multiple surface textures

• Create work that resonates with a public audience

• Bring a distinct perspective to their practice

What Selected Artists Receive

Artists chosen for MELT will be:

• Commissioned to create a large-scale mural

• Matched with a wall based on style, scale, and concept

• Compensated according to project scope

Please note: travel expenses are not included.

Application Fee — $25

A non-refundable application fee is required to be considered.

This fee directly supports:

• Artist compensation

• Materials and production

• Festival infrastructure

MELT is free to attend — this fee helps make the work possible.
